Return of the Dhalmel

Man, it's been a while since Ina updated huh? o.o No worries! I'v got a general plan for what I'l be entering...starting with the events BEFORE my leave :D

Soooo...I went to besiged with Eva a while back. It got up to level 7, and before we got there, we met with a few of the generals, and Eva showed me one she likes...a lot o.o

o.o I gotta say, her armor looked badass! But we didn't get to see much otherwise, because soon came the opening cutscene...

o_o Whoa whoa whoa! Who's this peice of hawt Aht Urghan? I wanted to fight with him! >_>

Afterward, me and Eva messed around in Al Zhabi for a bit, and had a lot of fun :D

This is Ameratsu! Isn't she cute? :D Eva and I got bored, so we were going to make some Mules to level up in Sandy with, but eventually Zer and Xean came to give us pearls, and then we attacked Xean!

But, sadly, it seems Ammy has her bad moments too....

Now...the day before I left, I got some new armor. Figured I'd show it real fast :D

Now, we get to current events :3 The events of my coming back!

First, I hit 50!

(This was accually the second time ; ; I dlvled)

Then, came the coup de grace!

I'm pushing up! I should be able to start leveling in Aht Urghan now! :D

:D Inari here! So wow, been a little while since I last updated, huh? I'v gotten quite a few things done since!

First off: I got my Teleport-Vhazl Crystal!! Thank you Chpal, Maharo, Shaoulin, and Kiersten for the help ^^

We can through several zones, and did some occasional fighting on the way. Like with this tiger in Beaucidine!!

Yeah, we totally mauled him! :D Afterward, we did some running through Xarcabard, run past a floating eyeball.

This place, I'l admit, was a blizzardey, demon and aggro infested HELL, no wonder the Shadow Lord lives here... But, after a little more running, we encountered something...something evil...something...horrendous.

I'd only seen one of these puppies on my 2-3 mission, and man...I gotta say this big guy was tough also! But, we won. :D Chpal ended up shooting spikes of earth through his malnourished gut. Inari only tastes good with ketchup, silly dragon!! >_>; Not that...I would know...

..................Yeah.

But, as we continued, we then encountered the more evil of the Xarcabard enemies. And guess what?

They were kind enough to kneel, and accept me as their queen! Hahahaha! :D The first in my army of rising monsters! Now all I need is the Tonberries...and I can make a Grudge Bomb...nuke every city for 2000 dmg! (haha Eva :D )

But anyway, after the long run, we got the crystal, and I had to go a little while later. ; ; I wasn't able to help Chpal with his plans for Rau(tab)...sorry Chpal!! ; ;

But, the next day, came the second event in my list: Getting to Aht Urghan.

I'v always wanted to visit this place, but I knew that I'd only need to go there once I hit 50 or so, but, thanks to Eva (THANK YOU!!!!!!!! :D ) I got it 10 levels early!!

...I think she just wanted me to meet Naja, though o.o;

Anyway, as we talked to the man who talked about it, we made the decision to get all the six Subjob Items.

A Crab Apron, a worm from a Damselfly's gut, a blood-stained robe (I don't blame the person for leaving it bloody, blood is a bitch to get out of stuff o.o;; ) a Magicked Skull, a rabbit's tail (Isn't the foot the lucky part?) and some Dhamel Spit (and no, I didn't spit in a cup for it >_> )

So, first we ran to the Gusgen Mines, home of the Magicked Skull and Bloody Robe. After a short bit of running, we began to realize that these mines were...o_o; Spooky

First, we ran into an intresting...person.

; ; Sadly, I couldn't find out who he was...

Next, we ran to the Dunes, home of the Crab Cooking Apron, and the Damselfly Ring Worm >_>;

So as we were running..I noticed the Dunes were abnormally empty...it was almost creepy, considering you could usually find plenty of people around there. We soon found one of the reasons.

The Goblin Bounty Hunter. These suckers were SE's way of getting rid of fishing bots...

...Too bad it kills everything near the water. Ruining the camping site for Pugils ; ; Those suckers run FAST too! o_o;

But I defeated one. Just to be mean ^^

Nonetheless, after we got that gear, we hightailed it to Bub(tab), and got that Rabbit Tail, and Dhamel Spit. Of course, Eva got scared after we killed the Dhamel, because his head was still twitching o.o

Anyway! We ran back to Jeuno, gave the guy his stuff, and then BAM! I earned the Boarding Permit :D Now I could go to Aht Urghan!!

Eva then said she'd take me.....sadly, the boat left as soon as we showed up. So...we sat down and relaxed for fifteen minutes.

Aren't we cute?!

Anyway. After the boat decided to show up, we hopped on, and were on our way!!

Which took another fifteen minutes. In the mean time, Screenies~!

Wheee!! That was our boat ride :D But then, after a long time, I got to the one place I had wanted to be for the majority of my game time..

The Empire of Aht Urghan!!!

Eva introduced me to Naja Salaheem, who didn't seem too bad :D

Of course...she later pointed her mace at me..

And called me a liar ; ; I don't like her, but still, she's an NPC >_> I'v met some worse ones.

But afterward, I had to see one last place before my adventure came to an end.

Whoo! I'd wanted to see this Assault Portal thing for a while =o So I got my wish!

Next up: The Brenner! It got kinda started by just random jargon, but eventually, Myrrh, Enny and I set up three Brenners in a row! D: Sadly we didn't do Enny's...but still ^^; Here are muh screenies!!

Wild Parties in Northern Sand'oria.

Hey all! It's Ina here, again ^^

So, later on when I logged on, I noticed that a lot of people in the LS were in Sand'oria, or Sandy as it's more known. So, I -being the one to find out what's the big news- ran on down, that and I'd need to do some fishing later on for Moat Carp :D But that's another story

So, when I get down there, I happen to come across Sprinkles, Tim, and Exo all standing about...naked. I burst in on Tim singing "I'm too sexy" >_>; I like that song...

So anyway, as I head in, Tim and Sprinkles decide to get FREAKY.

o_o;; Well, that's some GARKA action there. Sadly, Tim had to leave a short while later, leaving us with a partially afk Exo...until Myrhh decided to join in our little wild party.

Anyhow, Kiersten eventually joined in the fun, and then...came the guest of Honor.

Buckeyespud. ; ; He was leaving the game, so this would essentially be the last time we'd see him...so Sprinkles and Myrrh decided to take full advantage of this party to make Buck a happy, happy man.

o___o;; Umm... Yeah....

Here's something distration worthy! I stabbed Sprinkles! >_> My Katana's first victim...

All the fun ended up dying eventually, as I had to go ; ; But before I did, Sprinkles' son, Bellydancer, decided to show up and see his daddy!!

^^ They make such a good father and son pair~

Isle of Forgotten Saints, and the Desert Altepa

BAM~! How's that for a nice picture to get started, eh? ^^ I owe Zer, Spalk, Krask, Carste and Pasq for helping me with that :D It went very well, if I do say so...aside from our wipe, which was...my fault >_>;;

So anyway! Today we did Promyvion-Holla. The one with the Second Floor made from the bowels of Hell it'self. I swear, I LOATH that floor. It's a damnable menace! We went through three Memory Receptacales, and the fourth one turned out to be the real one >_>; I had to erase a bunch of screenies, so I don't have the one with us all eating dirt on the floor.

But! I do have this, great picture that I said I would put in my blog for our actions ^^ Here it is you guys!

BAM! We all put our selves into one big /hurray! (except for Pasq... ; ; He was too short.)

Nonetheless, after a fairly painless fight, that went over very smoothly (and we broke the record! Hells yes!! ) we were treated to our respective cutscenes. I took my pictures of them : D

Now, on to other matters: Altepa Desert! I'v been partying a lot there recently, and so I figured I'd get in some screenies, mainly because Fraps almost WANTS me to take pictures o.o Either way, enjoy!

Brenner, Mea, and Half of Holla, oh my!

Well, how's that for a beginning picture? It's Inari herself! With my tweaked face dat, and awesome idle dat, in the desert. Brilliant!

So anyway, I figure I'd start with something that was just looking nice. : D I like Altepa Desert, it's a nice place, although the music could be cooler.

Ahh well, time to get to buisness.

Here is a quick note, I saw Eva's blog, and her post about our Brenner. I'l admit, she beat the living hell out of me, but I won a good 5 of those fights >_>;

Especially the last one, the very, very last fight. We decided to run down to the shore, and fight on the water, so after meeting up, we both start dueling. I used a Lethe Water, but at the wrong time, her Utsusemi went off about a second after I used it. ; ; So, I cut through her Utsusemi, then hit her normally. Then with a WS. Whip off my 2hr, and BAM. Double SC'd her into the dirt ^^ Match ended about 15 seconds later.

So today, we'r supposed to have the Prommy stuff, you know, Promyvion, the emo land that takes a little ways to get up to this Spire, where you murdelize some poor, unfortunate boss.

About an hour and a half, I get a message from Zerayla, the leader of our guild. She's having RL problems and can't show up to help us, and is positive we can do it.

"Oh crap..." was what I said, but understood nonetheless, I told the LS, and then got my things ready for the Prommy run. After a bit, we got everything gathered together, and were prepared. By one, the usual time, we discovered a problem. We only had five people! Myself, Carste, Falk, Kagemusha and Aserati, if I'm correct. My memory is fuzzy o.o;

So, we need another member, although we couldn't find one in the LS, we decided to shout for

one.

"{Promvyion-Mea} {Do you need it?} WAR or SMN 5/6 members"

Not bad of a shout, if I do say so myself.

Only I posted it in party.... x_X So, after a breif bit of rearrangement, I got it out in shout, and almost instantly got a request. A mithra named Sensational decided to offer as SMN, and

we were glad to have her!

So, after a breif bit of running, getting prepared more, we went off to Promyvion-Mea. Let's just say I'm nervous. I kinda considered myself to be the party 'leader', in a manner of speaking.

One problem is...

I have very little leadership skills. I consider myself very bad at it, and I'm not proud of that. But, overall, it wasn't too hard. o.o; Kage helped a bunch, and he even had a map! I had just pulled up mine on XIclopedia, once I get internet into the little PoS laptop I bought from somewhere, I'l be using that for internet reasons, and this can be pure XI jargon.

Anyway! So we get to the Spire of Mea, and go through the battle plan, Kage uses his Anima during the beginning stages of the fight, at 50%, both SMNs, Falk and Sensational blow Astral Flow, and I go 2hr as soon as I hit 100% tp

So, I cheat. I use Meditation to boost my TP up ^^ Once it hits 100, I use Tachi: Enpi

Inari hits the Delver for 5 damage.

o_o; Say what? Okay. No big deal, my WS' have they'r off times. I blow my 2 hr and earn 300% of TP sexiness

So that went well, and then the fight continued on. We used our anima, and everything went

smoothly. The Astral Flows amazed me

Ifrit uses Inferno

The Delver takes 549 points of damage.

That made me WANT to get Summoner...and I don't even like mage jobs. That and most summons look just awesome o_o; Especially Ramuh.

So, anyway, the Delver fell. Took some time, but we did it! I got a breif cutscene, showing a pretty snowy place, and some girl floating in the air o.o;

Then we generally disbanded, and Carste gave Sensational a linkpearl, I bloodported back to Jeuno, and then disbanded also.

Okay! I can get both my prommys done, and visit all the cool areas!!

As soon as we get started, everything rolls smoothly, we get everything, and teleport on in. I get thrown into a long cutscene. It was...intresting.

First off: Inari got SLAPPED. >_> I was tempted to reach through my screen and pimp slap that damnable scientist right back to where he belonged!

Then, Wolfgang (who I gotta say, I thought was cool) goes and gets close to stabbing me...but stabs the little emo pale child

Then, after all of that...the kid stands up, and makes Tah Darkeenass go everywhere! o_o; Then I got one of those weird things coming from the beginning, something about struggling and my inner self... If there was a fight between me and my inner self... >_>; I'd probably lose.

So anyway, we go through the first floor pretty fast. Easy, eh? Then comes the second...

We push through aggro'd Wanderer after Wanderer, and a Weeper or two. So, no big deal, eh? It took some time, but we got there.

Third floor: Here's where it starts. Vergill (who even I have to say, is a bit of a noob) and this other Elvaan who I can't rememeber get into an argument. Vergill basically acted like a general noob to the point of all but two of us wiping. (I myself, died and dleveled >_>;;) So, we all get raised, and all of us get back on track. We push our way through, when suddenly my 'Magnet' (In-joke in which I have an agro magnet that activates during Prommies and ENMs...along with Yuhtunga Jungle o_O) decided to kick in after almost a month of deactivation.

Seether charges in from NOWHERE and kicked me straight in the face. So, we handle fighting, when halfway, some Wanderer decides to follow my Magnet. Lovely. The Elvaan who accused Vergill of noobitity simply Mijin Gakure's, blowing the Seether apart. That was a good move, since it decided to run away afterward. Then we cut the Wanderer to Shreds.

Now here comes Mr. Thinker...on Vergill this time. I whip out my 2hr, which decided to conviently pop about two minutes ago, and take off a nice chunk of it's HP. Vergill fights too, though he's not nessecarily doing well. The Thinker basically then decided to get away from his Thinking and Plotting, and BAM. I'm down. Vergill basically falls right after. The Whm, and everyone else dies too.

So, we'r talking about disbanding, and we decide to do so. So much for Holla.

Overall, though, it was a rather nice job, if it weren't for the damn Thinker, and my magnet @.@

Still, there's my rather large update.

It begins

Well hello thar! I'm Inari, since I won't use my real name, I'm going under that title.

^^ Inari is the Japanese god of fertility, rice, agriculture, foxes and industry...which means it's my fault FFXI's economy is out of whack... ; ; Damn. On a side note: Inari-zushi is a type of sushi. o_o;

Speaking of which, the reason I made this blog. I play FFXI, Final Fantasy XI. The online one, and a few of my Linkshell members have blogs on here...so I figured I'd join the rising trend! As of now, my character is Elvaan (Whoo!), female, and awesome. :D I'v been playing for about two months, and I haven't really checked my playtime so far, so I'm not sure how long I'm on for, I am on often though, so that counts for something.

My current status jobwise is that my Warrior is 44, my Samurai is 35, my Monk at 20, my Ninja at 10, and my Paladin at 10. Notice anything special about my job choices?

My Linkshell, The Brotherhood -or TBH- is an AWESOME LS :D That's not from a suckup point of view, it really is. I'v enjoyed some of our joking conversations, our weekendly insanity we all tend to get, and some of the events we do. Helping with the stuff they have planned is fun too, and suprisingly I'm not much of a helper to people, it's just really really really fun to do it on XI for some reason o_o; The game is hardly repetitive, like most say, and sometimes I may have my off moments, such as staying up late in a pt, and being tired and such. ^^;

Still, this is something I'm starting at school. I'l continue at home, but for now I don't have any of the nice pictures of my -and the LS'- adventures. That's all for now!
